Question on Requesting Specific Bldg, View, Etc.

We are staying at the Poly in a LV room and I have seen that many of you have had some success with requesting specific bldgs, rooms, etc. prior to leaving home. I have a couple of questions about this....

A) Does anyone happen to have the fax # for the Poly?

and

B) Is there a standard form to use? Or do you just fax a note with confirmation #, check in date, etc and what your preferences are?

More and more resorts are ignoring the faxes. Call reservations and have them put any of your requests in the reservation.

Just remember it is only a request. When you get there and you didn't get all your requests smile sweetly and ask if they can help.

Definitely include it in your reservation request. The only place I didn't really get my preferences was at VWL....at BWV, BCV, and YC we got all of our requests, and we were there during a high time. It is best if you just make general requests like "Boardwalk view, high floor, etc" instead of "Room 4157" or something.
