Question on Member Room Discounts

Is the 25% member room discount good only in DVC resort rooms or is it available at the other Disney Rosorts as well?

It's only for DVC resorts and the member has to be staying in the room.

But you could buy an AP, and that would get you rooms at 1/2 off at most the the resorts at Disney, both DVC and the hotels, for most times during the year. The very cheapest resorts like All Stars, may not be quite 50% off, but the others are . AKL this summer for a pool side room is $145 on an AP rate. I got 1/2 off my room at BC last Christmas.
