Question on Meet & greets??

I was just on my MDE acct and noticed they have special events where I would pick a time to meet and greet princesses or whoever, but yet it says this is not a reservation .I guess my question is what exactly is it? I would love to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel and Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope i am just not sure how it works.

For some characters you can get a FP+ for... Cinderella & Rapunzel, Anna & Elsa, Ariel, & Mickey Mouse at Magic Kingdom, Disney Pals at EPCOT Character Spot and Disney Pals at Adventures Outpost in Animal Kingdom you.

All the others that are listed are just reminders for you to add to your itinerary. For those you just stand in the regular line. There is no FP+... Wreck-it-Ralph & Vanellope, Merida, Gaston, Tiana & Naveen, Dug & Russell, etc...
