Can this be done? We are booked at Art of Animation this June. I have a son who lives in GA and would like to join us but doesnt want to come for the full week. Is there any way to add him for a few days or would we have to pay for him the entire week? He could stay at an off site hotel since he driving and just meet us but we are doing the dining plan which would exclude him at dinner time

If there is room within your room occupancy, you can add him once you are at the resort before he comes. If he makes a third adult in a regular room, you will have to pay the extra adult charge per night ($10 at a value). He can just pay cash for his meals, but you can still include him on your reservations for meals. And he will have to buy his tickets separately as well.

Ok! That is good information! We do have enough room, we are in a suite that sleeps 6. We are purchasing military discount tickets so that works perfectly!

Agree with the PP - my sister often joins us for only part of the trip and even when we have the dining plan it isn't an issue as long as I add her after I have completely checked in.

He will have to purchase his park ticket separately and pay OOP for his meals!

The only drawback is that you won't be able to book his FP+ until after 30 days but with the exception of a few high demand rides you probably won't have any issues copying your FP+s to him.
