My wife and I are hopefully staying there before the end of the year.

My question is, do they still have BBQ grills for each cabin and do they work on natural gas or do you have to bring charcoal?
Thanks.

Just as an FYI, not that you were asking but...

We just got back from a stay over Labor Day weekend (Moved our traditional BLT stay for MNSSHP over to CFW) and absolutely loved everything about the Cabins. Actually looked at adding points, but the numbers just don't work, but that's been discussed elsewhere.

At any rate, the Cabins themselves are beautiful and an awesome place to stay. DW and I were terming them "Super Studios" because the Cabin was way better than staying in a studio. Plus, you can bring your dog! Absolutely loved the Fort. We have talked about coming back and just staying and not doing much in the parks.

I will say it is better to have your car if you can drive. So convenient to pull up right next to the door and load/unload. A golf cart is a great thing to have as well, and if you didn't have a car, probably a necessity. We didn't rent a cart this trip because it was a quick trip and we were in the parks 2 of the 3 days and had our car, but we have a stay coming up over New Years that we have a cart for the whole time.

Also, bring decorations so that you can decorate your campsite...

Staying for a week over Thanksgiving and then a week over Christmas. Love the Fort and signed contract for points. Last time I grilled in front of the cabin was 10 years ago, and it was so relaxing - glad they kept those grills available.

Some of the best memories with my kids are driving the golf cart around the loops to admire decorations during the Holidays.
