The best place to buy tickets, the best seats, has anyone sat in the poncho section? It it worth the $325 US for a family of 4.

Saw them in Toronto.....the show was alot of fun. Tickets were $55 each. This was a couple of years ago. I would not want to sit in the poncho section!!! You get wet and it is not just water!!! :goodvibes

Hi there,
We did BMG in Feb in FL, and it was wonderful. We have 9 & 7 yr old girls, and they loved it as well. The venue is not big, which is good in this case. Smaller venue makes the show that much better. We bought our tickets right from the box office, but called ahead with a CC to do will call. It was around $220 US for 2 adults, 2 children. It was worth it though. The show is 2 hours without a break. I also wouldn't sit in the poncho section. We sat at the back, where the walkway was in between rows, and it was great cause it didnt feel crowded. Have fun!

We've seen the show at Universal Studios Fl. twice in the last year and absolutely loved it!! We didn't sit in the poncho section but sat in the second row from the second section which were great seats! We ordered our tickets online on the Universal website and then picked them up on the night of the show both times. It really is worth every penny!:)

Have fun!:thumbsup2

My BIL got us tickets for when we were visiting him in Orlando a couple of years ago. We sat right in the poncho section and it wasn't that bad as far as being "splashed" with stuff. However, the closer you are to the front the closer you are to being "voluntold" to come up on stage. I ended up on stage with drumsticks attached to my ears with string. Granted they pull people from the middle of the audience up on stage too...and definitely don't walk in late!!:rotfl2:

Haha dishguy1977 we sat in the second section and my son and his girlfriend were actually chosen by staff to "pretend" that they were walking in late! So when you see these people they in actual fact were already in their seats in plenty of time but are 'plants"...it was sooo funny!:rotfl2:

We had front row centre seats last December in Orlando and almost the same seats in Vegas last May. We never really got wet, although I did dodge one piece of something that plopped next to my shoe. We went with the attitude of having as much fun as possible....and we sure did. My youngest was chosen to go on stage for the drumstick ear thing as mentioned above. My older son tried to get up there by making as much fuss as possible but they tend to choose the quieter people. If you sit in the front at the end of the row on the right facing the stage, you're almost guaranteed to get chosen for the old camera down the throat gag. As also mentioned, the venue in Orlando is about half the size of the stage in Vegas but equally as fun.

So if you're up for a lot of fun and want to fully enjoy the experience....get in the poncho section just to get the excitement of maybe getting splashed...although the ponchos will cover you completely.

Oh...I ordered the tickets online through the Universal/Blue Man Group website 3 months in advance and around the same time and online for Vegas. I believe one of the shows, I used a discount code in the monthly discount email from www.travelzoo.ca or www.travelzoo.com.

Im not sure about the show in Orlando, but we saw the group when they came through Calgary and they were FANTASTIC! I did find it was a bit long, but I was also 7 months preggo:lmao:
