Question for Floridians

Hi Everyone,

What week does Florida usually celebrate April vacation? My daughter has 3 days off the week Before we celebrate April vacation soooo I'm thinking pull her out the extra two days and sneak in a WDW trip.

Or is the whole month basically a zoo?

Actually, the school Spring Break is in March. Next year it will be March 22-26.

Easter is Sunday, April 11 and the public schools do not have any days scheduled off at Easter time. Just an early dismissal day on Wednesday, April 28th.

Our school's have Good Friday off, but that's it for Easter.

IMO - the best time to go is the last week in April through the 1st week in May. The weather's usually good, airfare is usually cheaper and all the spring breakers are back in school.

Spring break is always mid-late March here. All counties are different, but most FL schools breaks are in March. That said, the week around Easter is blackout for us seasonal passholders as it is very busy that week as many states do have spring break then.

It varies from county to county. We are in Broward county and our public schools will be closed from April 5-12, classes resume April 13th.
