Would 8th row, left of the center seats be good? Some shows that I've been to are not as good if you are that close. Would there be anything going on over your head that would be difficult to see? That's where our tickets are, but now I'm having second thoughts about getting them that close to the stage. Any opinions?

Oh my GOSH, YES! :) Absolutely. That's where I was when I saw it, when it first opened. I CRIED due to my location.

I'm not spoiling it andI don't want to elaborate further, but you DEFINITELY want to be down in the orchestra for what's going on down there. If I recall, not much if anything happens over head.

IMHO, those are GREAT seats. Hope that helped! :teeth:

I think it would be okay, we were towards the back of the front section. It was great, the aisle seats are nice because they do come down a few times. I think about 20 seats back would be about perfect, there are some big puppets and other things but it will depend on the theatre how close they'd be at 8 seats. We were a little more than that but could see very well :)

You'll enjoy the show!

We have 3rd row, left, for our anniversary week in September (Shhhhhh, it's a surprise still) :teeth: I did see the show on Broadway, I was in the balcony, but do not recall anything that would be negative about close up front seats like that. Enjoy, Jill!!!!

I've seen it twice in Los Angeles for the production that was exactly like the Broadway show. The first time we were in the 8th row, center section but to the left and the second time we were in the FRONT ROW. :) The 8th row was actually better for the first time; it was fun to see it from incredibly close the second time (we watched the conductor in the orchestra pit, he was amazing) but you do see a little too much of the "magic" from the front row (down to the spit coming from the actor's mouths when enunciating certain things). ;)

Go with the 8th row, you'll love it! :)

Those seats would be great.!!!! We sat in the first row center in the balcony for the Boardway show. We thought that was great. Enjoy the show!!!!!
