We have always used a Canadian airline (AirCanada) to fly to Orlando, but considering the problems they are having, we have opted to book with a US carrier for our March break 2005 trip. Continental has an amazing price right now ($250.00 less than Air Canada) so we are considering booking in the next day or so.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to booking with the airline directly as opposed to Expedia or travelocity? Also, I have read that some US carriers will give a travel voucher (credit) if the price drops, is this true (unheard of with Canadian carriers) with Continental.
Is Continental doing ok? I have read that Delta and US airways aren't doing too well financially, and where we are booking 10 months away, I am alittle nervous to book on an airline that I don't really know too much about.
Thanks for all the information.
