OK i have decided to let my hubby who loves flowers trees etc... help me with my bouquet for our vow renewal...

I prefer something simple like lots of red roses and a little tiny bit of baby's breath.. He prefers something like the cascading one that Disney has.

Did you let your df/dh help in your choice ? and what would you all do?

My DH had almost no part in planning the wedding. (He felt his life would be safer if he just let me do what I wanted. :rotfl: ) I stuck with a simple rose bouquet that had some crystals in it.

I would try and find some sort of compromise. Maybe a rose "ball" with stephanotis hanging by ribbons from the bottom of the bouquet. Something like Jessica Simpson did.

My DD's DF is a Marine and he was stationed in Georgia and couldn't be here for any of the decisions... lucky for us, as my DD got to have the wedding she had always envisioned without any debates.
The only thing my DSIL requested was to not have to eat any fancy flavored cake... he wanted plain white cake with white creamy frosting... nothing flavored... so that is what he got.

I should add... my DD regreted having asked his input regarding the cake flavor choice.

To begin with, he was not a "Disney" person... as it is, he thought having a wedding at Disneyland was insane and could not possibly be fancy and dignified. If he had been included in all the decisions, he probalby would have chosen NOT to have more than half of the things that we did... but he did love all the choices and thought everything was beautiful and was surprised at every turn. :thumbsup2
To date, his attitude toward everything Disney has changed.

My DH didn't have any interest in the floral part of the wedding stuff...he left that part up to me.

I wanted a simple round bouquet with lots of flowers and lots of color...and that's just what I got!

In a way, as much as I loved my bouquet and was VERY excited about that one part of my wedding (nothing made me feel as much like a bride as my bouquet)...it's kind of a short-lived thing. They only last so long (if you use fresh flowers)...my point is, don't stress over this part too much if there is something else you can really focus on that will have a more lasting memory/impact if you know what I mean.

My DF isn't too interested in anything he's not eating so... My suggestion is find some sort of comprimise. Maybe a lot of red roses with an addition of some flowers that could be used to hang down?? Good luck with your decisions!

hahaha, val my hubby only wants to know what he's eating too!

My DH gave very few opinions - mostly food also! He insisted we eat at Narcoossee's and that we have a gigantic cake - 3 tiers for 19 people.... :rotfl: Other than that he really didn't get involved. We both love purple so I just ordered all purple/lilac colored flowers, mostly roses.

My DF gave me total control...HAHA Silly man!!! I let him pick the cake flavors though, he's such a bore!! Buttercream and yellow cake!

HAHA yeah ok lol. I sometimes wich that Tim would have had some input with the wedding lol.

I picked all the floral,he really didn't care. The only thing he wanted was to walk into Enter Sandman by Metallica at the reception. It was awesome BTW.

If it is a big deal to him what type of flowers you carry I would just try and come to some type of in between like what princessbride07 said.
