We got a Wii yesterday and we love it! The kids have played at friends' houses but yesterday was the first time that dh & I have played with Wii. It's so much fun! :goodvibes

I have a question about making a Wii Mii. Yesterday we made one for each of us to keep. My parents are arriving today and we made a Mii for each of them because I think they'll have fun giving the Wii a try. They visit us only a few times a year. It it OK to always keep their Miis in our Wii so they have a ready-made Mii when they visit? Is it OK to have basically inactive Mii that gets used a few times a year? There are 4 of us, so with their Miis we'd have a total of 6. There's no limit to Miis, right? :confused3

I don't think there is a limit. One guy I chatted with had almost 900 Miis stored. An unused Mii can just sit on the Wii as long as you want.

Plus if you connect the Wii to the Internet, you can visit the Mii channel and download tons more Miis! People make them to look like all sorts of famous people and characters. I have downloaded lots, like Star Trek, and Star Wars, and many others.

We have a Wii so I know what you are talking about but I had to chuckle reading your post thinking "if someone didn't have a Wii and had no idea what a Mii was, what would they be thinking right now"?:rotfl2:

We have Mii's for just about every kid in the neighborhood and for most of the people that visit occasionally. There is no problem with having infrequently used Mii's. In some games, the Mii's that around being played show up as fans or statues. The kids love it when they see their grandparent's Mii's cheering for them.

There doesn't seem to be a limit on either the number of Miis or how long you can store them. My son made an army of little Miis that look just like him. We have at least 100 Miis and they've been in there for at least 2 years!

When the grandparents were here last year for Christmas they made their own Wii Miis. There are still there and hopefully they'll get to use them again (we're in OH, they're in CA).

My kids have made a Mii for practically everyone.

We have one for each of our 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 fish and 4 ferrets! LOL :rotfl:

LOL, my kids have made Miis of our pets too. It's so funny to play a game see our cat's Mii running by or the Mii of my 80 year old Dad (whose Mii looks JUST like him) participating in a game. :rotfl:

Yes, you can have LOTS of Miis and they last forever! Make Miis to your heart's content. :thumbsup2

I've never been a big fan of video games, but I love the Wii. :goodvibes

DFiance and I have Mii's on our Wii that we rarely use. We've made them just for fun, or for my/his parents, friends that come over a few times and play, etc.

It's no big deal if they just sit there unused for a looong time!

Happy Wii-ing!

You can go to the Mii Channel and download lots of Mii's. It's fun to be doing aerobics and to Barrack OBama or Hillary or Ozzie doing aerobics beside you! :cool1:

if you register someone else's wii console (and vice versa), you can send any mii you have on your console over to them (and vice versa again).... so when you/they sign into the 'mii channel', those new ones will drop from above and join your group (you can't edit/change them, since someone else made them)
