Ok, this should give everyone their morning laugh. I can't quite remember the details and it's been years, maybe 5 or 6. I am almost positive there was a discussion on here about the best time to book a flight and it was like 2am or something off the wall. Does anyone remember that? I was going to book my fight this morning, but of course, the price went up overnight from 216 to 223. My trip is Nov 30- Dec 5.
And what is the point of comparison shopping? I have been looking at a specific flight for weeks, and it's the same price every website.

I guess I just need some good tips. I did see a post on here that said the best day to book is Tues, so I will do that. But I'm still curious about the time of day booking theory. Anyone? :confused3

I don't much pay attention to the whole 'what time of day to book' issue. I know what I am willing to pay for my fare. I know when I need to fly. There are days that it is cheaper to fly..for instance, Tuesdays are cheaper than Saturdays. I fly about 3 times a year, so have a good idea of what fares tend to be. So, as soon as I see a fare I can live with, I book it. I am not going to stress over an addlt $15-25 per flight...if a flight goes up a bit, then so be it. I should have booked when I first saw it.
It's up to you if you want to stay up late (or get up way early) in order to save a bit on your airfare.

Thanks for the info Goofy4tink. About a month ago, the fare was $179, but I didn't have the funds to buy then. So I have watched it go up and up. I will definitely wait til Tues. to see what price it's at. I'd like to be at $200 or less, but like you said, $20 or so shouldn't make or break me. If it did, I should reconsider going to WDW! ;)

I'm from Ct and a few weeks back I got a good deal with Delta for $210 round trip. I have flyer miles, but for this price I saved my miles. This is for a trip in Oct 21 to Oct Oct 26.
