Question about Washers/Dryers

I understand that members staying in a studio can use the washers and dryers in the laundry rooms for free, but how does that work exactly?

We stayed in a 1BR so we had them in the room, but we peeked into the laundry room and saw the normal coin operated machines. What's the story?

Just curious in case we decide to stay in a studio in the future. The only problem is that we loved the 1BR so much, I think we'll have tough time staying a studio. We're spoiled already!

That is the danger of the larger villas....makes it near impossible to return to a studio. But that is why we find DVC such a great deal -- the one bedroom really costs no more than a moderate room.

Yes, they're the standard coin type machines, suitable for a laundry room as you saw. However, no coins are required. The machines are indeed free.

You just push in the lever and it works.
