DH and I will be booking a trip sometime soon - hopefully on Southwest.

We have a tiny credit ($16 ea) to use up - as prices went down on a trip we took in December.

When we book our flights - how do we "use" this credit?
Thanks!

You choose flights as you normally would and as you get to poin of payment there is spot to put in ticketless travel funds you put in old comf numf and hit apply it should substract your 16/ea from costs.

Thank you Fire14 - that is exactly what I needed!

Just remember the new tickets will take on the expiration date of the credit you are appling. So if you need to cancel or if the price goes down the credit you recieve will need to be used by the purchase date of the original ticket purchase date of your Dec ticket. IE if you are purchasing a ticket for say Sept and you have to pay $125 & you use the $16 credit toward your ticket then the price goes down and you apply for the credit. The credit refund will also have the expiration date that the $16. had.

If it were me I would book your trip as two one way tickets that way the other ticket will have an expiratioon date of today!

I was definitely planning on doing 2-one way tickets. The price of the outbound flights have dropped somewhat. Coming back - they still are sort of high. Our last trip - we had the same problem -so we took SW out to NYC, and flew back on Delta. I would prefer SW both directions, however, $$ will be the determining factor.
