Question about Universal Partner Hotels

We're here now at Doubletree at the Entrance. I know we get the Partner Hotel benefits, like discounts at the sit-down park restaurants and the main gift shops. I called the front desk to ask how we get those benefits, like what do we show at the restaurants. Her answer was, "Um, I guess you just show your room key." Well, our room key just says Doubletree; it could be from any Doubletree in the world. There is nothing that shows we are staying at a Universal Partner Hotel.

Has anybody else used these benefits, and if so, how do you prove where you are staying to get the discount?

(By the way, we booked thru Southwest Vacations, and it said on our confirmation that we receive the Partner Benefits.)

maybe when you checked into the double tree, your hotel key card is coded for the perks.
i went to the southwest package to see what they included.
or maybe when you make a purchase at the places listed below, the TM can verify by your hotel card you booked with SW and will get the discounts.

i'm sure you will have to meet the specifications of the package to receive the discounts.
