Question about strollers and rain...

Probably a silly question, but trying to cover all bases.. Taking 7 mo DD for an 8 day trip here pretty quick.. One thing I am worried about is if it starts to rain, do they make rain covers for strollers???

yes they make rain covers, and I would consider it an essential purchase anyway, but certainly for a WDW trip. Try somewhere like Babies R US or Baby Depot.

We bought this for our upcoming trip..I also baought another type at Babies R Us store. Basically there are some things I've discovered. The completely plastic ones are more form fitting to the stroller, will probably stay on easier, but do not usually cover the legs or the basket.

The one from Babycenter.com will cover legs and basket but requires some tying down (more time consuming) I put mine on last night and my 18mo just pulled it off!!! So I'll have to try tying it on

So both kinds have advantages and disadvantages!!

mine is clear like the 2nd one, but as long as the first one. i only tie it down if its windy or very heavy rain but my 4 month old isn't likely to mess with it

If you have a full-size single stroller, and you want the rainshield to cover all the way down around the basket, consider buying a cover made for a tandem stroller. You will still be able to properly secure it around the handles, but it will hang longer in front. Baby Depot, the nursery dept. of Burlington Coat Factory, has inexpensive tandem covers that will fit a single this way.

(FYI: BCF does not give refunds, only store credit. I suggest taking your stroller with you and trying the cover in the store if you are likely to be picky about how it fits.)

I got this info from another thread. You can buy a single. double, or tandem size cover from choochoobaby.com This style slips over stroller and is secured with hook and loop fasteners. I need to buy one myself!
