How "rough/bad" is Star Tours? Is it anything like Mission Space? Does it go upside down? Did you enjoy it?

2. Is it anything like Mission Space?

3. Does it go upside down?

4. Did you enjoy it?

1. Depends in what variant you get, but it could give you motion sickness. For the most part it isn't that bad.

2. Eh, not really.

3. No.

4. If anyone knows me, they know I love this ride, SO YES.

My wife is a ride wuss and she liked it, sure she screamed a bit, but when she got off she just could not stop laughing.

it doesn't feel as rough to me as it used to.

i definitely like riding it multiple times to see the different storylines.

It is a teeny bit rough but it doesn't go upside down. We like it!

i am a right wuss also and thoroughly enjoy star tours-
i am inclined to hold onto the seat though!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

*it is definitely less rough than it used to be but it does depend on what story you get

* I LOVE this ride it is my favorite

* I ride it over and over again for the story changes

1. Not that bad at all. I have lower back problems and I was unable to ride it before the rehab (I had ridden it many, many moons ago and remembered the "jerky" motion). Hubby took the kids on first, promised me it wasn't bad, and I went on. I loved it!!! My back didn't hurt at all afterwards.

2. I haven't ridden Mission Space, so I can't really answer that questions. But, based upon what I've heard, no it's not. Mission Space is kinda like a centrifuge, spinning you around. Star Tours makes you actually feel like you are in a moving vehicle.

3. No, it does not go upside down.

4. I loved it!!!! So excited when I got to see the Wookie planet (I'm a Chewy fan!)

:goodvibes

If you have motion sickness, it depends on what your triggers are. I have a friend who enjoys roller coasters, but the 3D/simulation aspect of this ride is difficult for her. She said it wasn't as bad as a roller coaster simulator she once rode, but she did need to close her eyes during a couple of parts.

Other than things like that that may be triggers for certain people, I think it's one of the more tame thrill rides at WDW. Certainly not anything like Mission Space. And yes, I really enjoy it :)

My 82-year-old mother said this was her favorite ride. She doesn't do roller coasters or anything really rough, but she loved Star Tours.
