Question about Rotation

Is it possible to get a rotation with Enchanted Garden for formal night, Enchanted Garden 3 times, and Artist's Palate for Pirate Night?

On a 7-night cruise you will be in one of the MDRs for 3 nights, so requesting EG for 3 nights should not be an issue. The other 2 requests may not both be possible as it depends on which nights those events are scheduled. For instance, if formal and pirate are nights 2 & 3 and your rotation is ERAERAE, then only the Pirate night would work.

You should let shoreside know your requests and they will do their best to accommodate you. You should prioritize which of the requests is most important to you.

As long as there are enough guests, your cruise will have three rotations available. You can request one of them, but Disney doesn't guarantee that they'll be able to fulfil your request. You can't create a custom rotation, though. Or, at least, I've never heard of anyone doing that.

No, you cannot as it would mess up the serving teams for you and others. Even concierge can't create custom rotations.

As @dcassetta said, the OP may need to decide which is more important - Enchanted Garden 3 times, Enchanted Garden formal night, or Animator's Palate on Pirate Night.

Almost certainly there will need to be priorities. Since the 3x restaurant is usually where you eat the first night, and formal night is typically on night 2, those two requests would almost certainly cancel each other out.

Yup.

Ours on our March 12 Fantasy sailing was RAAERAE, with formal night and pirate night both in Animators (day 2 and 3 respectively). But, hmm. The fireworks were on day 4, not on Pirate night.

So in order I think we will ask for in this order:
  • Pirate night in Artist's Palate so we only end up eating there 1
  • That we NOT have AP more than twice, agan so we only end up there on Crush night. We're not big fans of AP on either ship, but I am a big Crush fan.
  • Formal Night in Enchanted Garden
  • Enchanted Garden 3 times

Another option would be to just ask shoreside what the rotations are, and if they know what the theme nights are, and pick the one that works best for you. That’s what we did for our upcoming cruise. But they didn’t know until about 2-3 months in advance.

That's not really how it works, though. You'll be at each restaurant twice for the normal menu and then the secondary menu. You'll be at one restaurant a third time for the Pirates menu. So, if you have the Pirates menu at AP, then you'll be at AP three times. If you're at EG three times, then you'll have the Pirates menu at EG.

See? This is why I ask - I haven't cruised in over 5 years.
I know there's a lot I've forgotten.
Ok so then AP 3 times have Palo once in the restaurant and again in our room to skip out on the second AP night?

So AP 3 time so I can have Pirate Night at Palo and skip the pirate menu.
And ask for EG on Formal night because I find it to be the nicest of the restaurants - it reminds me of Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans.

Thank you for offering insight.

You need to pick which is most important. It sounds like EG on suggested formal night is most important to you, so THAT is the rotation I would request. There is the possibility that the rotation that would have you in AP on Pirate Night (which you said you wanted, so not sure why you'd do Palo that night?) would not have you in EG on suggested formal night.

I wanted Pirate night in AP because I want to skip both.

Im assuming you are on a 7 night cruise?

here’s the rotation schedules unless it changed. You’ll have to pick the one that fits your needs. On a seven night you do 3 nights at one restaurant and 2 nights at each of the others. If you don’t want to do AP you would just skip it or book Palo or room service. Currently Cabana for dinner is/was not available.

RAERAAE/ AERAEER/ ERAERRA

looks like the second choice would have E three times and cover formal night and pirate night (which is indicated by the EE)

btw, these are still correct as I had the 3rd one the first week of March.

I think AERAEER actually covers all of the requirements, right? Three nights at EG, formal night at EG, and pirate night at AP. You could even do double Palo and skip AP both times since the first AP night is also the first cruise night!

Was that an Eastern sailing? Our Western sailing the week after was different. I checked my photos to be sure. And I don't know if the itinerary makes a difference or they just changed it for our sailing. Ours was RAAERAE.

Anyway, OP, if you want Enchanted Garden for formal night, ask for that. Or if you're sure you're doing Palo on Pirate night, then ask for Animators on that night. And make sure to ask which night will be Pirate night, just to be sure.
