I'm not a fan of roller coasters (can't stand being twisted & turned fast & especially do not like going upside down) so I was wondering about the rides at Universal and IOA. What are they like?

Is there a book anyone would recommend that describes the rides? We're planning on going next month and I'd like to be prepared! :)

Thanks much!

There are only 2 rollercoasters at IOA. Dueling Dragons and The Hulk. The Mummy is an indoor dark ride with coaster elements. I am a huge coaster chicken and will not ride the big ones, but love the Mummy. Other than that there are ALOT of other rides for you to enjoy.

Go to you tube and look up the rides or go to universalorlando.com and look up the rides......some show the actual ride.

Do not fret - there is plenty to see and do!!

To true. There is a whole lot to do other then coasters. There are days I just cann't do coasters(not my DW)but always enjoy the shows.:thumbsup2

like tlinus said, there are 2 coasters , and both at IOA, none at all at Universal studios, but why not look on the Universal orlando site ,i think it gives descriptions of rides.
There is plenty of things to do.

The Mummy IS part rollercoaster and they're currently building the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rock-it Coaster :thumbsup2

Wondering how the theme is going to be on The Rock-It:teleport: Can't wate till next year.

I consider Dueling Dragons to be two coasters since they are both different but share the queue and loading station...so there! :snooty: :rotfl:

We call it one coaster when people don't want thrill rides and two coasters when they do want them.....sssshhh.... :rolleyes1

Thanks so much for the info! I will definitely look at youtube.

Looks like I'll have more time to plan afterall - our trip for next month has been postponed until the Fall. Oh well - at least it gives me more time to plan! :)

Thanks again!
