Question about registering on the DIS

I have a question. When I registered at the dis, the "tag" under my name said "Welcomed Guest". After I posted 75 times (I think), my "tag" then said "DIS Veteran" and I had the option of changing it myself to whatever I wanted.

I have read some threads today where some new people were posting (less than 10 posts) and their "tag" said "Registered". Did this change from when I registered last year?
