Question about Pop Century bus?

I am sure this has been covered here before but... I was wondering does Pop century have its own bus or does it share with any other of the resorts? We stayed at All Star Movies last year and I know all the All Stars share buses and this was a nightmare last year. We waited forever for buses from AK. Line was very long for all stars and very little buses were sent. Every other resort line was empty. I guess if you are only paying $120.00 a night (which is not cheap to me) then I guess Disney does not care how long you wait. I love Disney world but this was a bit crazy last year. Just wondering if by staying at Pop we maybe could avoid this this summer. Thanks for the help!

Pop only has one bus stop.

It doesn't share buses with any other resorts but Pop is a big resort so there can be a long line for buses at peak times of the day.

As we waited 40 minutes for a bus from Animal Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge one afternoon in April, we spotted no fewer than 4 Pop Century buses. For the most part we are fans of the bus system but usually take the car to Animal Kingdom. That day my DD wanted to "ride the bus".

Park closing = long bus queues for all value resorts.

Park opening = ???? I really need to try to make park opening some day! Usually the earliest I manage is 10:00 a.m.!

I think as a another poster stated Ak has really slow service in the pm to the values... My last trip at POP I waited forever for a bus to Pop and saw at least 3 all star buses while I waited. I think it can be very hit or miss.

Pop Century is one of only two resorts that do not either share buses with other resorts or have multiple stops within the same resort.

The other is Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I would say that missed trips* resulting in a wait of more than an hour are worth bringing to the attention of Guest Services.

Thanks for all of your replies! It was a long wait for a bus from AK that night we were there. All of the other bus stops were empty, and it seemed like we were only getting a bus only every 40 min or so, it was crazy. People were getting mad. There were so many people in line that Disney should have had several buses pulling up to our stop at one time instead they had buses pulling up to empty stops. I know my family waited atleast 2 hours. It was just crazy. I stood in line while my kids layed down in the grass with a lot of other kids ( where I could see them of course). Hopefully next time we go we will have better luck.
