Question about pool being refurbished at Carribean Beach

Does anyone have any more information regarded the Old Port Royale pool being refurbished Jan.-June of 2008? We have a package booked for June 12-20 and along with my brother and sisters with a total of about five families. We have always enjoyed our stay at the Carribean Beach but also enjoy leaving the parks in the afternoon and going back to the hotel for a swim. Any information would be helpful as this might possibly change our decision to stay at this resort.
