Question about personlized maps?

So I was looking into the maps and I think they look super fun but I was just playing with them online and it doesn't list meet and greets and we will be doing those as well. Is it worth it to even order them or just wait till we get there and pick up normal ones?

I'd wait. They really aren't personalized well at all. You get to tell them what you are interested in and they make those things. Then, they mark thing that you might also be interested in (see: just about everything). If you don't know the parks well, go ahead and get them to get better acquainted with the lay of the land. However, if you are looking for a truly personalized map, this won't be it.

These are more keepsakes than usable park maps. We like to get them for sentimental reasons but aren't really made for taking with you into the parks for use.

I think they are very cool. But I also agree that they are more of a keepsake. I was just thinking about framing one of them... they are so cute

This! They are big and don't fold as much (or as well) as the ones you can grab in the parks.

Well I didn't want it for a keepsake but more for a map to use in the park. I was hoping it was helpful as you can pick all your attractions, meet and greets ect and have them listed in order for where you're going. But guess it doesn't get that detailed. I plan on studying the maps a lot before going so when we do grab the park ones I pretty much know where everything is.

they are big and on heavy-ish type of paper and as someone else said, don't fold well and if they are folded and unfolded often, I've seen them to tear on the creases.

also, the Festival of the Lion is not on the AK personalized map yet. I'm waiting to order for that reason.
