question about paperwork

How long after filling out all the paperwork and mailing it all in, do we hear from them to find out if we've been ''approved'' or not?

I guess, I meant to ask when should I expect to hear from them about being approved? I am excited and a little bit nervous, just wouldn't want anything to go wrong.

DId you purchase through DVC or through resale? When we bought through DVC it didn't take long at all, at most a week I think. Not sure about resales but I;m sure someone else can help you out. Good Luck!

resales take about 15-17 days from sending in the paperwork and the 20 percent down.

Thank you so much for responding, I guess I've just been nervous. I bought directly from DVC, and sent the paperwork off last Wednesday. I didn't know if I should expect to hear from them in a couple of weeks or right away. I'm sure I'll hear from them within the next week then, hopefully.

I bought directly from DVC and left 10% down, does that make a difference?

nope.......... the only difference between 10 and 20% down is only on your interest rate from disney............

I would've put down 20% just so I'd have less to pay but they said I only had to put down 10% at the most. I guess I'm just looking forward to hearing back from them to put my mind at ease a little bit.

I guess I worried for nothing, I just got home and checked the mail, and I was approved, I am officially a DVC member now, and I am so happy!
