We are going to MNSSHP on 10/31. Is it going to be really crowded?? Do adults dress up? Are rides and restaurants open??

Thanks
Lisa

We'll be there on 10/31 as well! and looking forward to a great time! Yummy candy and wonderful fireworks! :) ENJOY

Can't guarantee the crowds but I did go to MVMCP on a sold out nite and it wasn't bad at all. VERY little waits and still some walk ons!!

FYI-There is a lot of useful info in the Sticky Thread titled UPDATED 2005 INFO** Mickey's NOT So Scary Halloween Party Central 2005 ***

I'm going to my first MNSSHP on 10/30, but from what I have read most people say that the ride lines are short, but certain things may get crowded (i.e. candy lines, character pics). It seems that it is 50/50 for people being dressed up. I don't think we are going to get dressed up, but will enjoy seing other peoples costumes. I think all the rides are open and LTT and Tony's are open for dinner as are most of the counter service restaurants. HAVE FUN!!

I've gone Halloween night twice and it is definitely crowded but YMMV depending on what part of the park you are in. You could ask 10 people and get 10 different answers. Some areas will be less crowded then others.

Just walking around and trick or treating, its crowded. The trick or treat lines move very fast though.

If you go in with a game plan and priorities set, you should do just fine.

LTT and Tony's are open during the party and all the other sit down restaurants take ADRs up until 6:00p.

Yes, many adults dress up. I don't though. I just wear a Halloween shirt.

We'll be there, our 1st time, too.
Dh, baby and I will be dressed as Barney, Betty, and Bam-Bam Rubble. :flower:
Our girls will be Jasmine, Ariel, and a Flower fairy.
Speaking of... I need to get sewing!!!! :earboy2:

We’ve attended MNSSHP twice on Halloween and thought the crowds were manageable; lines pretty short. We were able to almost as much during MNSSHP as we did during a full “regular” day on the same trip.

The only uncomfortable crowds we encountered were in Mickey’s Toon Town, which was PACKED! Some of the candy lines and the line to get our free picture were kind of long, but they moved pretty fast.

Our kids wore costumes, but DW and I did not. The majority of the kids at party are in costume, but I didn’t feel out of place in “civilian clothes”!

You’ll have a blast!
