Question about military discount

Hey all,

Its been a while since I have been on here, but we are hopefully planning a trip for fall 2014.

I have used and loved the military discount several times before, but not this past year and have a quick question. If we check in on 9/27, last day of the discount, do we just get the room discount for 1 night? Also can we use the ticket for the full four days if we activate the ticket on 9/27?

We are wanting to go to the food and wine festival, and would really like to visit over Columbus day weekend, but since the 2014 discount doesn't cover that and there is no guarantee of a 2015 this seemed like the best option.

Another question, if we really want to go over Columbus day weekend, are we better off just booking then and hoping for the discount, or going when we know there is a discount

OK. As for the discount, you would only get it for the nights applicable under the promotion through the end date. If they renew for 2015, you can just book another reservation with the new discount for the remainder of your dates. I am positive of this as I currently check in to POFQ on Friday, and then again on Sunday (when the new promotion begins).

Unfortunately the tickets will not carry over either which stinks. You'd have to buy two sets of tickets to cover you dates.

If you are going to go regardless of discounts, I see no reason not to book. But, if your visit is dependent on the discount, you may as well wait, IMHO.

Hope that helps. :goodvibes
