Question about Lime Green Mickeys!

Subscribing so I remember to do this for my trip in October!

I purchased luggage tags from the dollar store it was laminate that you put a card in and then peel the sticky backing off and it seals I put my green mickey head with my user name and DIS on the tag and have it on my suit case and my small backpack I bring to the park. another Diser spotted me in epcot

Cool idea. I went to the $ store but couldn't find it. Where in the dollar should I have been looking? Thanks I will be there in 6 days!!!!!

Alien Green from HD is the "official color" (although anything limey would work ). It also matches perfect with the lime green baggallini's that a lot of people recommend for carrying at Disney. Any April Fockers out there that are going to be at WDW April 24-29 and would like to meet up somewhere let me know. I am going to try to set up a meet. jen

I got my lime green Mickey's today - 8 of them! And I'm glad I read this post about the Focker signal. If I didn't know about it before I went I'd just be staring at the people... Now at least I can just wave (didn't see the movie, don't ever care to).

Watch for me/us Wed. & Thurs (Jan. 31 & Feb 1) at Epcot.....my LGMH button will be on my backpack...... (& I'll be wearing my DIS shirt!)

So these LGMH's are like the sample paint color things? I gotta go check it out, see if the HD here has some. =) Maybe i'll head out there today. Are the good for baggage claim too after a flight? I mean they've got to be, unless someone else has the same back and is also a DISer.

My DH thinks I'm nuts too. He just sits on the couch shaking his head when I start telling him about LGMH's and this board. I tell him its just good, clean fun!

Thank you...wanted to add a little "flair"....bought the button at Michael's for about a buck...couldn't beat it. Put some purple scrapbook paper behind it, LGMH, glitter and viola......identifiable!

I have the same shirt....actually I have two! BTW, does anyone still wear the lime green ribbons too, or has the paint sample thing taken it's place. I find it very easy to tie several lengths of the curling ribbon to the front and BACK of my waist pouch, and it's been spotted on every trip.

I saw 2 Dis people at MK on 1/25.....a young couple heading towards the Mountains, walking too fast for me to say hey. They both had backpacks with mickey heads tied on by what I think was yarn. Was this you? We never saw anyone else with them....boo hoo

I guess I will be going to Home Depot tomorrow to look for LGMH! I jsut happened onto this forum tonight. At least it will give me another project to keep me occupied till the trip! Hope to see some of you there!

I'm so excited that I found out about all this! Yes, I'm one of those lurkers , but I lurk well! I read everything and I have gained so much info from you guys and now I know how to recognize fellow DISers in the Parks...now only six more months to go!
