Question about Lime Green Mickeys!

Thank you for all the good ideas. I have some LGMH's, but haven't done anything with them yet. I'll have them attached to everyone in the family (whether they like it or not)when we go!! :rotfl:

Alien Green from HD is the "official color" (although anything limey would work ;)). It also matches perfect with the lime green baggallini's that a lot of people recommend for carrying at Disney. Any April Fockers out there that are going to be at WDW April 24-29 and would like to meet up somewhere let me know. I am going to try to set up a meet. :goodvibes jen

Oh, come on over and check out the Focker site  http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1188048

We'll be there then! Get to POFQ 23 April- 7 May. This will be the first yr i'll have a LGMH thanks to this thread. Living in the UK i plan to make full use of the downloadable document and make some badges!!!! Maybe we'll see you there pixiedust:

It just occured to me that I just ordered LIME GREEN Crocs! I did it without even really thinking about it until I looked at my list of things to do, which includes visit HD for LGMHs!!!

There was a huge stack if lgmh at home depot, then they just up and walked away. And somehow ended up at my house.

That's funny. The same thing happened at my nearby HD on Monday.
Hmmmmm.

:rolleyes1

Ok, so the time is coming near for my adventure to Home Depot. What is the most comfortable method of picking up the LGMH's? Everytime I plan it out in my head I see myself putting them in my purse, BUT that seems so sneaky! :rolleyes1

I had my girls with me, and they went wild when they saw them. I just let them pick out a color for themselves, and I helped myself to a few samples. They were in the front of the store, and we had just walked in, so I just stuck them in my pockets as I situated my gloves, keys, etc. I don't think anyone even noticed.

:lmao: I just can't help myself... we make it sound like getting the LGMH's from DH like it's the undetected crime of the century! :rotfl:

Aah - I need to go back to HD today and get some more painting supplies (REALLY! I'm in the middle of painting our bedroom!) so I just may have to five finger discount me some more. ;)

I wonder if the HD or Disney paint people ever wonder why they're always out of alien green paint chips?????? :confused3 :rotfl: :confused3 :rotfl: :lmao:

I liberated 27 LGMHs over the weekend, as well as a few in other colors for scrapbooking. For those of you that are LGMH pros, which is the best way to remove them from their backings? I've seen soaking and peeling as two of the recommended methods. Which one has worked better for you?

You're too funny! :rotfl:

And Yes, I second the questions about how to take them off the backing. I tried and almost ripped mine! I'd also love to hear the suggestions.

You just have to very slowly peel them off. Than I glue 2 of them together. Sometimes I lamenate them and on others I don't. This last trip to WDW i put a LGMH on my dh's fanny bag also. He actually left it on. LOL I put them on my purse, suitcases and camara case as well. Good luck.

Hi, I cut around my MH's and glue them (I have a sticker maker that I run them through) together. My DD got ahold of one and tried to peel it thinking it was a sticker. It had crease marks on it from her trying to peel it:sad: . I much prefer cutting, but it does make them bulky to laminate (I did anyway;) ). Good Luck, Have fun :goodvibes jen

It's an everyone can join club. When/if we spot DISser's in the parks, who of course will be wearing some lime green or displaying their LGMH's, we can fock them! Which is the 2 fingers pointing from your eyes and then to theirs, like Robert DeNiro does in Meet The Parents. Hope this makes sense, follow the link below and come and join the fun. :cool1:
