Question about KongFrontation

I have heard rumours that KongFrontation (USF) is to ( or already has) close, and will be replaced by something else.

Does anyone know what it is going to be replaced by??

They haven't said yet - and it is already closed. Rumor is that it will be an indoor coaster based on "The Mummy"

There's a rumor going around that it will be a Mummy ride with coaster-like elements.

Ahhh....too bad. That's the first ride we went on when we were there in '90. We had our picture taken with the ape after the ride and we were looking forward to getting another to 'bookend' them.

I was told that Kong was retired on a tropical island. Also heard the same rumor about the Mummy coaster ride.
