Question about getting 4th FP

Do all members of a party have to be in the park to obtain a 4th FP or can 1 member go in to a kiosk and select for your entire party? Thanks!

Each member of the party has to have used their first 3 FPs, but once they do that, any one person (who is linked to the other people) can book for the whole group. Since you don't scan your admission medium (ticket or MB) on the way out, the system has no way of knowing if any particular person is in the park or lounging at the pool. In other words, the system knows that you have entered the park, but not when you have left it. Now, if a person leaves and then enters a different park and thereby notifies the system that they are no longer in the earlier park by scanning their admission medium at a different tapstile, I don't know what happens.

Thank you for your reply. So if we were in DHS used all 3 FP's and all left and then my husband goes to the Int'l gateway in Epcot, he could select an addt'l FP for all of us? You do have to be in the park you want to make FP reservations for, correct? I just want to be clear! Thanks!

Additional FastPass+ selections must be made at a FastPass+ kiosk within the same park as the FastPass+ experience that you wish to select, and they can be made at a different park from your previous selections.
