Question about free dining......

We are planning a trip to WDW next September. Ive been reading about how they have offered free dining in the past and Im hoping that they will this year too.

My question is, that if I book a trip now that falls between the time they are offering the free dining am I automatically eligible for the promotion.
Or do I have to wait until they actually offer the free dining and then try to book?

I believe, but am not sure, that if you book now and you wish to rebook with a free dining promotion that they will need to cancel the current reservation and rebook.

I do believe thats correct. We are wanting to go during free dining next September as well, but I don't think we will book until it comes out maybe in
April or so.
