question about FoodCourts

OK - so this may sound like a very stupid question but can you take the food you buy in the food courts back to your room?

If so, do you have to let them know so that they can package it 'to go'?

It's out first time onsite and not sure what the Food Court etiquette is?!!

yes tell them it is too go. That way they can put lids and stuff on everything for you. We would take our food to our room quite a lot especially when we were trying to get the kids ready in the morning.

Always good to know. We're generally early risers (especially the first couple of days what with the jetlag from the UK) so was hoping this would be the case. Can now send DH down to get some breakfast!!

Just to add to the advice. Don't be hesitant to take a tray back to the room with you. You won't have to try and carry everything in your hands. Simply take the tray back with you next time you are near the food court.

we sometimes order a few meals to go and sit out by the pool and eat there. We always have our refillable mugs ready to go and this adds to our comfort of just vegging outside.
trays are not a problem either......either put them by your door for the housekeepers to pick up or take them back to the food court when you go. Next to the pool areas are places to put your trays also.
I can HARDLY WAIT now.....you got me anxious....

I must admit I was sat here in freezing cold england wondering exactly how I was going to manage to carry everything!!

Last month if my family and I were staying at the Contemporary and got something from the Contempo Cafe if we wanted to eat it back in our room, we just took it on a tray that they gave us when we picked up our food and later on we would bring the tray back so we could return it.
