Is the facepainting free during MNSSHP? Where is it located? Is it crowded? My little family (4 of us) will all be at MNSSHP on 10/11 dressed as pirates. Wondering if they could "spiff" us up before we got our free pictures taken. Anyone have any info? Thanks ahead of time! Kathy pirate:

Yes, they had free face painting. It was located near the Dole Stand just inside Adventureland.

I'm not sure what all they were painting, but I bet you'd be able to get something pirate-related.

We saw a face painting station just before Goofy's Barnstormer at Mickey's Toontown Fair.

There were several chairs but the line was still pretty long.

When we were there 9-30...the line in Adventure Land was VERY long..and it was about 30 minutes prior to the official start. We skipped it.

We got ours donefor free in the toontown one at 10"30 and there were only 4 people ahead of us. and there was a pirateg

We saw them in Adventureland and Toontown and everytime we went by the line was VERY long. Not worth it.

::MickeyMo We went to the one in Toontown on 9/30 and although there was a long line, we waited only a few minutes. The CM's were very quick at getting the kids done. :sunny: Rebecca

We got ours done just before the fireworks at Adventureland and the line wasn't long, waited like 5 minutes.

Just be aware that for the pirate one, they paint your forehead and one of your eyes (for the patch) and if you sweat the make up will run down a little bit... my DH got it and it didn't come off but i had to pat down the eye area so that it wouldn't run down.. it looked really cool and they did it in like 3 minutes!!!

Last year, we knew it would be crowded during the party, so we paid to have our faces painted prior to the party. The only problem was that it was hot and it made our faces itch. I couldn't wash it off because that was my costume!

There are two locations where you can have your face painted for free during MNSSHP. One is in Toontown - There is a big blue tent as you walk into toontown. The other location is by the bridge in Adventureland. Each location has a selection of designs, but you can ask for a facepainting to match your costume. Each design takes about 2 to 3 minutes to paint. There are four artists at each location, so the line goes pretty quickly. If you get there at the start of the event, you can have your face painted for the whole evening. The Toontown location is open during the day, but you will have to pay regular prices - so it just depends on what you'd rather do. It's actually fun to see all the kids (and adults too!) get painted.

They use a water-based makeup, so it's comfortable to wear, and easy to remove.
