We are doing Sea World/ Discovery Cove first on our vacation, staying in Sea World. Our DC date is sunday and then we head to Bay Lake Tower/Disneyworld. We usually start our trip off at Chef Mickey's so my kids can get their character fill and then we dont' have to spend as much time doing characters in the park. Would it be too much to schedule a dinner at Chef Mickey's for say 6-630pm after DC???? or will we be too tired and just want to get checked in. Otherwise that evening all we will be doing is watching the fireworks from our room. Then Monday morning will probably hit a disney park at 9am(ropedrop) Any opinions??? thanks

In my opinion you would be pushing it alot trying to go to Chef Mickeys that night. It took everything I had to get my daughter out of the river at Discovery Cove and then figure that you have to go look at your pictures and decide what you want. It takes a while to get out of there. I'm not saying they are slow I'm saying your kids won't want to leave and the pictures are incredible. Discovery Cove is incredible and it is the only thing I would plan on that day.

It does take awhile to get out of there. You should have the energy for dinner, especially given you are going to be staying there at BLT. But you are going to feel pressed to get to CM for 6:00 or 6:30 reservation. I would go with 7:00 at the earliest.

Too much in one day IMHO. While DC is extremely relaxing, you are out in the sun and heat all day long. When we went last year, we just grabbed something in the food court and called it an early night.

You'll LOVE DC -- it was truly the best part of our trip (sorry Disney)

My DD and I have a 7:30 dinner reservation in Downtown Disney (we are going shopping after our DC day). But she is a teenager and has a lot of stamina, and we will already be checked into our resort before that.

Thanks... I think we will just enjoy checking in and exploring BLT after DC. That may be too much stimulation in one day for my girls anyhow. Thanks.
