Question about dues

Our dues have been automatically withdrawn from our checking account on the first of each month. I notice that they have not been deducted yet this month and it is already january 3rd. Are we suppose to notify MS each new year that we want to continue having them paid by automatic deduction?

The January dues are withdrawn on the 15 or there about every year.

The first payment of the year is deducted on the 15th. In February, it will go back to the 1st. The first deduction will also inlcude any amount due on the 2006 real estate taxes.

Usually, we do have a written bill by this time. (Anyone get there's yet?) You'll also find a dues statement on the DVC website. It will breakout for you how much they'll deduct 1/15 and for each month after that --- December may be a few cents less than the rest.

Once you select automatic deduction, it stays that way until you notify them you'd like to pay by some other method.

Thanks tor and PamOKW. I was getting worried we goofed something up. I did find it on the member website. Our dues have gone down $17.00 per month. We joined in March 2006 so last year's were averaged out for the remaining months of the year.

We also received our bill today. Pretty late it seems, but not a surprise, since I logged on to check out the total last month.
