Question about "dry camping"

Do you mean to tell me that I can't operate a coffee pot on battery
or with a generator for that matter?
You mean to tell me that you spend over thousand dollars for a generator and you can't have coffee?......

Okay this gives new meaning to the phrase "NOT A HAPPY CAMPER"

That's it...we can only dry camp in a 7/11 parking lot..so I can have my morning coffee.

I got a espresso pot for Christmas a year or so back, love it for quick coffee. It works in about 5-10 minutes, faster than a percolator, and you can use the gas stove in the camper. Just make weak espresso and you have coffee. That's what I used when we were tenting it. Boiled it on the Coleman camp stove. Makes 2-3 cups at a time. No electricity needed.

Gotta have that first cup in the morning.

I have no idea what having no electric or sewer or a generator or two generators or running off the battery, lights etc..etc... has to do with dry camping.

I ALWAYS prefer to camp while I am dry rather than wet.

I look like a beached whale wet anyway.

I'm not sure what the H-E-double hockey sticks it is..but coffee it's not.

Auntie - wanted to provide an update now that we tried out the new rig. Our first night out was using the regular battery that they provided...it did not last the first night before going dead. So dead that by morning the control for the refrigerator was not working, and all we did was use the water pump a little and a few lights.

I put in our golf cart batteries the second night and everything worked fine, batteries were still 2/3 full charge when we left two days later.
