I think the moderates have central check outs. So you can go to the various food stands and then meet up with the family and pay.

The difference is childern can just get their cards stamped. No money involved in the process.

I just want to add that my family likes the Pepper Market and I don't mind paying more for the service. One time, during lunch, the service was poor--they never took our drink orders (we ended up getting our own), etc. On the way out, I mentioned it to the cashier, and they subtracted the 10% service charge which I felt was fair considering we did not get service.

We did like Karebear. We went once when it was not busy at all. No one sat us, so we sat ourselves. They did bring us silverware and offered to get our drinks. We got our own.

We we left we asked the checkout to remove the 10% gratuity and they did, no discussion.

Also agree with Micca, that if the 10% were just added into the food, no one would complain. Maybe they should do that to stop the flaming of the Pepper Market, which is a very good food court.

Yes, it is set up different from the other food courts. But we thought the food was worth the added "service". Our teenage kids love the selection, quality and quantity. I loved the wide selection! The decor was upbeat and we enjoyed our meals there.

We also enjoy eating all over the "world" and visiting other hotels to eat. SO, I would never make a decision on which hotel to stay in based on the food court, as there are many more things much more important.

ps We were just at AKL and the kids wanted us to drive to CSR just to eat at the Pepper Market.

I've eaten at the PM over 20 times and never got past the station to seat myself. A CM has always been at that post, somtimes a manager. Its like any restaurant, would you walk past the podium to seat yourself or wait? Maybe the CM went to get something. I've never rec'd bad service or asked to take the 10% off the bill. It's well worth it to me. Wet Burrito, here I come...7 more days.

Does anyone know if the refilable mugs still have the three Cabellos on it? If they don't what do they look like know? Thanks KELLY
