Question about changing "home resort"

I have points at both OKW and BWV. After trying them both several times, I find myself in love with BWV. In your experience, is there any REAL benefit to trying to "trade" points with someone at BWV who might be looking for OKW points? Is it too much of a hassle? Has anyone successfully done this? Not really worried about dues, etc., just the 11 month booking window (have run into problems trying to book for Thanksgiving week).

Would GREATLY appreciate any and all input. THIS IS NOT AN OFFER TO SELL / BUY / TRADE!!

I feel for you. We looked into OKW in 1993, and put off buying DVC until BWV was offered. I'm sure there are at least some people who will occasionally want to trade, but my gut-feel is that it won't be as common as it sounds like you may want it to be. It seems to me you may want to consider buying an add-on at BWV, and selling your OKW contract.

Personally, if I'm going to trade my BWV points, it'll be for HH in summer.
