Question about "bounce back"

I've seen it mentioned a few times that guests with free dining last year were offered to return this year with the same deal...anyone know anymore details about this? are they going to offer it this year? who might you contact when we're there to see if this is available if its not out and out offered? I'd be very interested in making another trip in 08 since its the last time my son will be free! Thanks for your help!

The "bounce back" offer was made to guests during part of December last year, not to those who were guests during free dining (Aug - Sept.). I was there during free dining last year, so I know thats not when the offer was made.

Perhaps someone who was there last December and got this offer will respond. I know that there were several DISers who posted about it and said they accepted the offer.

I was there over Christmas week and free dining was offered from August 5- September 29.
We booked Aug. 10-20 and Sept. 28- Oct. 9.

Each year they change the dates available for free dining and this past year added the bounceback program.

There is no guarantee they will offer anything this year, we will have to wait and see.

Yep, like they said, you had to be actually staying at a WDW resort at the end of last November throughout last December to be able to book the "Bounceback" for this year's free dining dates. It was a test program and it seemed to me that lots of people here on the DIS took advantage of it, so maybe they will offer it again this December. Some posters booked a one night stay for themselves just to be able to book ahead - I particularly remember one lady who posted that she flew down, stayed at ASM, booked the package for her family, and flew back home the next day! Now that's a dedicated (Disney-loving!) mom

We were there last December and didn't see anything mentioned in our resorts (WL & BWI), so if I hadn't read about it here on the DIS I wouldn't have known about it. Some posters read about it here on the DIS, but when they asked at their resort even the CMs didn't know what they were talking about! Finally someone posted exactly what number to call from your room or which resort to go to to find the kiosk with info. I think maybe they kept it low key to see just how much of a response they would have?

Keep watching here on the DIS and I guarantee it will be posted ASAP if it shows up again this year!

We have booked a quick trip in December this year. The biggest reason is to take my DGS to WDW at Christmas but the other deciding factor was that we are hoping they have the bounce-back again and we can book our trip for next year. If not we will pray to the PIN gods for a special.

we were there in November and had literature in our room at the Pop. I called about it but since there was only one adult name on the reservation we could only book one room for Aug free dining and I would have needed 2 rooms so I didn't book and just hoped for the regular free dining. but now that it doesn't start until later in august my daughter in college can't go anyways so I only needed one room. I believe there were only certain resorts that it was advertised in. I am hoping they offer it again. I will book a room for my older daughter and a friend who live down there in Orlando and have them book the dates for next august for me.
