Question about Boma and Breakfast and how to get there

My fiancee and I are going to be staying at the Polynesian this May on our honeymoon. We want to try the breakfast buffet at Boma, but we are probably not going to rent a car this time, so won't be able to drive ourselves over there in the morning.
I was curious for anyone who's done this before, what is a good time to schedule this in the morning, so that the busses are actually running from the MK to AKL. I don't want to have too late of a breakfast, because we like to see the parks before lunchtime and then have a nap in the afternoon. Is this possible, or should we just scrap the breakfast idea and go to lunch or dinner there instead?
Thanks for the help!

What I would do is pick your day first based on which park is having early entry - go to that park and then get on the AKL bus back to the resort - then after breakfast go to the park you wish to explore - or just get a cab from your resort to the AKL -

If you plan on breakfast at about 9:30 am, you should have no problem getting from teh Polynesian to the AK, then catching a bus from the AK to the AKL in time.

Even if the AK doesn't open until 9:00am, the bus will start from the Poly no later than 8:30.

The Boma is a great choice. Make sure you get a PS for breakfast, they are great about working in walkin's but you don't want to be dissapointed. We just returned (3/8) and are already having cravings for the scones, sticky buns, smoked pork loin and pots of Kenya AA coffee. Breakfast about 9AM is good, by then most of the AKL guests are at the parks. Don't forget to visit the animals at Arusha rock and Sunset overlook after your breakfast.

On the transportation board Chip and Dale Express has said that if you are going before 8am (i think) there are special breakfast buses. Just ask a bus driver going what bus to take from the bus stop to get to AKL. They should be able to tell you how to get where you want to go and figure out the best way to do it. Just a note, the buses that drop off from other resorts at the parks early in the morning may only be drop offs only (I ran into that problem in 2001) so going to another park early to pick up a resort bus may not work. Just talk to a bus driver in the morning and do what they tell you since they can radio in and make sure there is someone to get you where you need to go.

We just tried Boma for breakfast last week and loved it. We ate areound 9:30. We just took a bus from AS movies to AK and then from AK to AKL. If you go right around when the park opens there seemed to be quite a few bussed coming from the resort at that time. I think we only waited about 5 min for an AKL bus.
