Question about Blizzard Beach and Teamboat Springs

My sister is having some concerns. We want to try this but we have a 4 year old with us, who is about 45" tall. My sister is afraid it may be too rough for the 4 yo, any opinions? She seems to think she went on it two years ago (when my niece was 2) and remembers it being alittle rough and that it was hard for her to hold on to her child and the raft handles at the same time. She is afraid to try again. Anyone else bring small kids on this family raft ride and have any comments or suggestions?

This is our most favorite thing to do at BB! So fun. Anyway, I don't think she'll have a problem at age 4. She'll be sitting so deep in the raft that she really can't fall out. Just have her hang on to the handles and she'll be ok. We brought our then 5 yr. old son on it 5 years ago and he had no problem. She'll probably laugh her head off and you will too!!!

Hulabird---In early June we went to BB and rode Teamboat Springs. It was our favorite ride! We also have a 4 yr old daughter that is about 44 1/2 to 45 " tall too. She had no problem at all riding the ride. She even did several of the slides.

Last year we went to Panama City Beach, FL -- we have a timeshare condo there-- and went to Shipwreck Island which is a great water park. They have a ride just like this one too. She was only 3 last July and had no problem riding it then either so I think your neice will be just fine. ENJOY!

We are thinking about doing this ride also next month. I'm not worried about my older kids (8 and 5) but I'm worried about my 20 month old. He's not afraid of anything, and he loves water, but is he too small? He's big for his age (almost 40"). Can he sit between my legs? What's the set up?
