When my daughter in law was at WDW in January she had injured her leg and was on a scooter, so even though she activated and used her AP every day of our trip, she was never asked to "scan" her fingers into the system. We are going to be returning in September for another trip and she will be walking and will need to scan her fingers. Will they give her a hard time about the fact that her pass was used but she does not have any finger images on file, or will she just be able to scan them for the first time and go on in? We really don't want to have to go through the Guest Services line if we don't have to.

Thanks for your help..

The "benchmark" scan is taken the first time you go through. If there is a problem, the cm can hit a button to reset it.

I usually use an ECV while at WDW. Sometimes I put my fingers through the machine & sometimes I do not. Usually the CM just takes my AP & runs it through for me & then checks my photo ID. I've never had any problems getting into the parks. Have fun!
