Question about Biggest Loser TV Show (Possible Spoiler)

I've never watched this show before but it was on tonight so DH and I watched it. We noticed at the end that the black team didn't vote in the elimination thing. They never explained why that was. They came in 2nd, so I don't think it would have been because of how they did that week. Can someone who has watched this show before enlighten me?

Their vote would not change anything and that is why they did not ask them for their vote. She already had enough votes to send her home.
