Question about AP rate at Contemporary

I booked 2 nights at the Contemporary with the AP BRP. I requested Consierge level. I'm surprising DH for his 50th birthday...shhhhhh....my question is, I want to be on the 14th floor Consierge. Will they put me on the 12th floor because I'm getting the BRP? I also want to be on the Magic Kingdom side. I really want this to be special. DH thinks we are spending 5 days with my parents...he'll be SO EXCITED.

Well, unfortunately, I don't think that you can book 14th floor concierge on-line. I believe that you can only book that by calling CRO. What does your confirmation say? If you booked concierge, my guess is that it is most likely Atrium club or Tower club (whatever they call it now). Also, MK view is the luck of the draw. We requested it for our 4th of July trip and were lucky enough to get it. Hopefully you have the same luck.

I agree with Mickey Fliers that your ressie is probably for the Atrium Club (10th or 12th floor). The best way to definitively tell is by looking at your rate.....The rates for the 14th floor are higher than those of the Atrium Club. It can't hurt to call the number in the email confirmation and let them know about your Hubby's birthday......

I booked the same kind of room through BRP and it is the limited concierge on the 10th floor. We paid $335 per night.

The way to tell is to click on the room description in the BRP listing when you are making the reservation. Mine specifically stated that the concierge service was limited.

The GOOD NEWS is that, if you are going prior to 1/1/06, you are virtually guaranteed to have a renovated room, since the 10th floor is done!! (I also think the 12th floor will be done by the time they move it back there, but I am not as sure of that.)
