Question about AAA rates on already booked room?

Hi,
We have reservations for the FTP for July 5-12 at ASMusic - We added on a night only (no park pass) for July 4 - I didn't even think about asking for an AAA rate - she quoted the regular price and I went ahead and said okay - we just got our AAA card, so I'm not used to making good use of it yet -

My question - can I call Disney and change the rate or is it a done deal now?

It should be no problem!!
Just call reservations and let them know you would like to put your AAA discount to your existing reservations.

I don't know the specifics, but it never hurts to ask.

If they say no, then you don't lose anything from where you are now. If they say yes, then you get to save some $$$ to spend elsewhere at WDW.

Disney is pretty good at taking care of their guests, so call and see if they will help you on this one.

I'm not sure that they would have a AAA discount on the FTP because it is already discounted. I know you can get a AAA rate on room only, not sure about packages. If you don't get anything with CRO/WDTC, you may want to call the AAA travel agent # on your card, they may have a special deal.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear - I was looking at the AAA rate for the first night - not the FTP package. Anyway - it's a moot point now! I just called and apparently they hold X amount of rooms at the AAA rate and they didn't have any more left. Just for the record - the rack rate is 122 including tax for ASMu. For the night I was asking about (July 4) - the AAA discount was 15 % - so she said it was 104 including tax.

Hey, don't give up.

When you check in, show your card and ask about the discount again.

If they say no, ask if an upgrade might be possible then!
