Queen and Jasmine ... a Magical Birthday Trip

Hope everyone is having a great week. We started out cold this week....like 12 degrees and last week it was 41 degrees with the humidex it felt the Florida...only in Manitoba...if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change

I was down another 1.6 pounds the week Have to say I was pretty darned excited...wasn't really feeling it as we were walking to the WW office...I thought for sure I was going to gain Oh well, I'm not complaining.

Jasmine and I are going shopping this weekend for all the rest of the stuff we need for the trip! She is off this weekend so we thought we better take advantage of it and then all I have to do is pack. She wants to go through her clothes on Saturday and then hit the mall Sunday.....I can't imagine what she thinks she needs, but I know she'll need something

No other news but once I get stuff in the suitcases this weekend I'll post some pictures

for the weight loss! Even though the number is not the most important thing, it's still nice to see visual proof that your hardwork is paying off.

41 degrees does not sound like Florida The whole celsius thing kind of throws me off

For another trip

You are not going to believe this but we are going next August We'll be there with my sister and her family again What are your dates...I sure hope we overlap!!! You buy the slushies then we'll walk to Mexico and I'll buy the margaritas

We will be there from Aug 19th to the 26th.

Congratulations on losing the 1.6 lbs. I have been trying to lose some weight too but it is not as easy as it use to be. Just another perk that comes with getting older, I guess.

Thank you so much...and you are so right....I can't believe how hard it is this time (yes I've done this before) and this is the first time I've done diet and exercise. The other times I've only ever cut back on food, it didn't work this time, I actually had to get up and exercise

Loving the TR, not enough talk about me thoughI would love to be a fly on the wall for that Winnipeg to Minneapolis flightApparently Jasmine has been asking her mom when she sees the plane in the sky if she can see it and she replies"no you can't see it because it's so small!!!"Cracks me up, of course because of Queen my eldest now has a fear of flying she never had before she had to sit beside her Aunt on one of those aborted landing flightsPoor kidI will find those pictures and post the matching shirts, the one Jasmine didn't want to wearI still say the Wicked Queen costume will be too hot to wear, I wear it to the elementary school to scare all the kids at Halloween and I sweat and we all know Halloween in Manitoba is not balmy I can't wait for our couples only trip, guess I should get started on my own pre tr since it's for sure a go now DH has his holidays confirmed. The only change is we are at Beach Club Villas as GF was unavailable.

I was thinking that too about the costume....and Jasmine said if I want her to wear a costume she would like me to pay for it...can you guess what my answer to that was
