Good morning. Frost 39 now, but going to 71 later on. Temps dropping to low 50's tomorrow, this weather is like a yo-yo.

I spent way too much time on the phone with my ISP yesterday. First, they've all of a sudden decided that we HAVE to use their email program, which sucks. I've used Thunderbird for 25 years, now they say I can't. Then I try to log into theirs, and can't get on. Same email I use for Thunderbird and my phone. She has to reset my password so I can log in and then change it back to what it was. Then I try to sign in and get a big red 'incorrect password or account name'. But I can click the log in button and open my email. Then I try on my phone and when it opens, it has Don's name at the top. Only problem is, Don't name hasn't been anywhere on that account for 1 1/2 years. They finally that straightened out, and then last night I get an email with a 'summary of my order'. I didn't place any order with my ISP. I call and spend another 30 minutes on the phone asking why if it's 'not a bill', why a summary of an order that I didn't place. They tell me that it's because of the email issue and having to reset my password? Yeah, maybe. but the total amount showed on what was 'not a bill' was higher than my bill should be. He assures me that my bill is still the same amount, and that he doesn't know why they send those things out because all it does is confuse everyone. So I started my day frustrated with them, and ended it the same way.

They're still working on the email issues they're having, and this guy assured me I should still be able to use whatever email program I want when they're done.

Technology isn't always so great when they can't leave things that were working just fine alone without messing with them.

Not feeling that great this morning, so not doing shopping and errands until tomorrow.

@Snowysmom it must be driving you crazy not knowing if you're going to Sedona or not. I don't see the government reopening anytime soon, so things are liable to get worse instead of better.

Today would have been Don's 72'nd birthday ❤️
Have a good day everyone

Extra big hug dear Lynn. I believe Don is always watching out for you my friend. I couldn't agree more with your technology words which also can apply to life in general. When something is working and doing so in a faithful, positive, beneficial way, leave it alone. Email prayers.

God Bless Mia dear Footballmouse and Happy Birthday to her. What an adorable Minnie jacket you got her. I hope she has a fun celebration.

Dear Snowysmom, as I said at the beginning, do what brings you peace and joy. A trip especially with a good fris meant to be relaxing and fun. Rescheduling prayers for a brighter time, my friend.

Good early morning everyone. My Dad talked to Antonia last night. She is coming early tomorrow morning. He said she truly sounds lovely which was how I felt talking with her last week, too. We are blessed God used my friend M to connect us to her. Dad may or may not visit me today. He has a lot to do in preparation for tomorrow. We are excited about the floors next Tuesday.

I am very slowly making some progress in my fight to get back on therapy. I should know more by the end of today or tomorrow at the latest. I do exercises on my own daily.

Have a bright day and a happy one dear friends. I will check back in later.

Mia's birthday party is Saturday. One of her presents that I got her was a personalized book. The little girl in the story looks like her (I had to upload a picture), I had to list her favorite foods, favorite places to visit, and her favorite activities. It's really cute and I hope she likes it.
I remember having those as a kid!

Agreed! I hate updates without explanations.

Mona Sounds like Antonia will be helpful for getting ready for the floor to be replaced. I hope all goes well.

Good morning. It is 38 here now with temps heading to 50. After I make my decision to go to Sedona they come up with a 10% decrease in flights beginning tomorrow. I am just having faith it will all work out or this is what we will be be doing to get back from Arizona:drive:. We leave on Chris' birthday. He would have been 72 on Saturday. I would usually make a one layer chocolate cake and bring it to Kenny or Jeff and family. It feels strange not to do it this year. I am getting clothes together and trying not to overpack. My friend is just doing a carryon. She told me what she is bringing and I don't know how she is fitting it in the carryon.

Off to work. I am trying to be in a good place with stuff by tomorrow. Have a good day.

I just realized Chris and @lynxstch 's Don and myself would all be 72 in the same year.

Of course I'm a bunch of months older but young at heart as I'm sure they were. Keep the happy memories!

Overpacking is my worst trait when it comes to traveling, but since I mostly drive at least I have space.

It's tempting to leave some stuff actually packed since I leave in less than 4 weeks for my next trip, but I'm a bit obsessive and have already started laundry on clean clothes I didn't wear since they made the trip with me.

@Snowysmom - hope everything goes well with the Sedona trip now that you are going. Wear your bulkiest items and pack thin stuff. Will it be warm there? I've never been and haven't really checked it out. Maybe some day.

Have a great day to all!

Judique You do sound like you are young at heart. That is a good way to be.

I check the weather predictions every day for Sedona! Now it is supposed to be in the low 70s for the first part of the week and then the 60s for the last 2 days. I always wear my fleece on the plane as I am always cold. I think I am good as far a packing goes. I definitely have stream lined things. I did see that both Logan airport and Phoenix airport are affected by the 10% cuts. Will have to keep an eye on things.

Good morning. 44 now going to 56, but they say an arctic blast is moving in. I think it started coming in last night. We got to 72 degrees yesterday but the winds were bad. Last night they were even worse. Windows were rattling, trash was blowing all over the neighborhood, the wind chimes were banging into each other and making a racket. It was hard to fall asleep.

This morning I found 2 big branches in the side yard, and when I got to the front yard, I saw a big piece of plastic in the bushes. When I picked it up, I realized it was the cover to the cable box that's mounted to the side of the house. I managed to get it back on, but when the wind pulled it off, it broke off one of the clips on one side. So again, I had to call the cable co, and they're sending someone out this afternoon to put a new cover on it. It also rained along with the wind last night, and I was worried about the wires inside the box. But internet and cable seem to be working fine. They'll check it all. But I've now had to call them 6 times in 4 days, a new record, lol

Heading out to do errands and get groceries. @Snowysmom I hope that things work out for your trip

Have a good day

Today is podiatrist day…very happy as I get callouses on my feet that make it painful to walk.

The trainer hasn’t contact us with tips regarding the crate and Bonnie, and what we have done does not convince Bonnie that the crate is her safe place. On the other hand, Bonnie has convinced us that we should put throws on the sofa and let her come up.:dog:

Good morning everyone with extra warmth (not a wind fan at all dear Lynn. Please stay safe and cozy) and love.

Young at heart and in spirit is a happier more freeing I believe way to go, extra peaceful, dear Judique. There can be good found in all. Even in my current horrible situation here. We are positively moving forward at hone and in spite of a handful of higher ups here not supporting me and my recovery there are so many kind folks here as well.

Antonia will be an early cleaning bird in an hour at 8am, her preference. I am very grateful she's coming today and probably tomorrow too. Meanwhile, I spent a lot of time on the phone yesterday trying to find floor cost reimbursement and came up empty. More searching today. I will also be calling the ombudsman about my situation here and if needed go higher up to the health department. Updates to come all-around.

I just pray you have unexpected fun on your trip dear Snowysmom! It will be okay.

Dear Bobbi, my Dad had painful calluses for years. He's taking a medication that has greatly helped. I will PM you later. Bonnie hug.

Dear PollyannaMom, how are the twins doing? I just thought of them. Thank you always for all your loving care to them, and all of us, of course, my friend, too.

Happy Thursday to all.

Bonnie is one smart dog!

I saw this posted early this morning. Not sure if it will help but posting anyway. Some of the videos I’m seeing of airports is a little disconcerting for waiting times. When do you leave @Snowysmom? (I realize you may not be flying SWA, but it was more the general info about reducing schedules that was important. I assume other airlines will also offer refunds.)

I'm deep cleaning my kitchen floor. It is wood and water should be somewhat avoided but with an old Yorkie, haven't incontinent moments and missing the pad sometimes, or not wanting to go out if it's raining or wet on the deck, some water has to be used.

Also, a urine remover and some oil to restore the wood. I just spent 2 hours doing 1/2 of it as carefully as possible. I would have done all at once, but the plan was to put dog on the deck for a bit.

At 52 degrees, I felt it was too cool for his little old body so the task is being done in 2 parts. The first part is finished and looks and smells great! Before I move him into the clean area I must let it dry thoroughly. I already dried it with an old bath mat but still will give it an hour or two to dry naturally.

I will line his area (about 4 by 8 with sleeping crate which is small inside it) with some plastic sheathing and then do the pads on top of that. He likes to be out and about but if he is not attended he will make a mess. This was not always the case, as before this year he rarely had an accident. He also prefers to sleep inside the crate.

I leave Saturday on Jetblue. I return the next Saturday on American airlines. I do have TSA precheck which may help with lines. I am getting to the airport about 3 hours early. I am watching flights carefully and even seeing if the American airlines flight for this Saturday from Phoenix to Boston gets canceled. If it does I would assume next weeks would be too.

They're good, thanks. :goodvibes Middle school seems to agree with them.

(Girl) is in a crafty phase, and sometimes we can get (boy) to ditch the video games and join us. - Last week, we made decorations and "potions" for Halloween, and we went to the library. 📚
