Good afternoon.

I spent the afternoon with Crystal Today is her 21st birthday. How did that little princess grow up so fast? We went to Ikea so I could use my $50 coupon and then to Friendly's for ice cream. We both had a free birthday sundae reward so we used them. She is waiting to hear from a friend who she thinks has something planned for later. I hope so and hope she has a wonderful time. She could use some fun after her dad wound up in the hospital again with stroke like symptoms. Thankfully it wasn't another stroke. Not sure what happened so he needs to see the drs. again to possibly tweak some meds.

Not much else going on around here. Hope you all have a good weekend

It finally rained hard last night, so things feel cleaner outside.

The truck was here this morning to do a routine septic pump, so I'm glad that's done.

And I have chicken in the crockpot, so I only have to worry about sides for dinner.

I probably watched too much TV today, but I was polishing my nails... so I had to let them dry between coats, right?

Good morning. It is 60 here now with temps heading to around 80. I took a walk earlier and it is so nice out. Jeff and family are on the plane heading to WDW, The flight is on time so far, doors closed so guessing it means they will be taking off soon. I do track them on their flights. It will be a quiet weekend, Kenny works this weekend. I plan to go to the lake to walk and then to Kohls and Wegmans. My MA friend and I had a nice lunch yesterday. We talked about our Sedona trip in Nov and caught up on family and our lives. We do see each other Mon and Wed on Zoom as she does a qi gong class but no time for chatting then.

Good morning. Going to be sunny and high 92 today. The heat is back for a couple of days before rain and cooler temps (I hope).

Still having an ongoing Amazon issue. I have a delivery conf # for an item that shows as not shipped. They say it hasn't left the warehouse so that's impossible. Yet the guy yesterday tracked the number and it shows as for that item. I'm now on call 5 trying to get them to either send another one or cancel the order. They're telling me to call my bank and have them remove the authorization so they can resend the item. Irritating the heck out of me.

I mowed last night, and have the bed stripped and remade, sheets in the wash. As soon as I'm off the phone with Amazon, I'm running to the market for a couple of sale items.

Glad you got good news, Mona.

Healing and recovering from my saga, a little beat. But I babysat DS’s girlfriend’s kids yesterday, and we all went out to an event today. Was good to get out and walk around, but hot, and we had fun when they were here. DD set up the sprinkler and they went in the pool, played Just Dance with DD, picked strawberries, and I made them lunch, etc.

Got our MNSSHP tees in the mail. I washed them and got them ready to wear. We’re going for our bdays. We also booked a special room the first night of our trip for our bdays overlooking the MK fireworks. Should be fun. Still just hoping I can make the trip.

Toto had a vet appt, one part of his bloodwork came back a little worrisome but we’re going to repeat it in six weeks. I also have to repeat some testing that was done in the hospital. Always something!

Good morning. It is 70 now with temps heading to 90. Tomorrow it will be in the low 70s as a cold front moves in tonight. I went to the gym this morning and heading to the lake later. After that I plan to wash the carpets in the 2 bedrooms. I have to stop by Kenny's to pick up some veggies I left there Friday. His GF has a garden and the veggies are ready to go. Jeff and family are in Disney now. They have adjoining rooms on the third floor DVC Polynesian. Great view of MK from their room so they can see the fireworks. I am getting excited about my Disney trip next month and hoping all goes well with weather, flights, and behavior. I really want a great trip with my 2 guys. I know the grandkids and GF are coming too but for me it is mainly about spending time with my sons. I told Kenny I did not want any mention of a birthday trip to anyone thee as it isn't my birthday until Dec but just celebrating my birthday early. He was noncommittal and just said oh there will be a mention of it. Hopefully it is just amongst us.

Good morning. 73 now heading for 93. Chance of rain the next 3 days and I have my fingers crossed that it does come.

Still having the issue with Amazon. The odd thing is that I ordered another one of the same item yesterday, and it's out for delivery now. They have no idea where the first one is, keep telling me that it's in the hands of the postal system, but that's not what tracking shows. It still says USPS awaiting item. I got a supervisor and she was nice enough to gift me a $20 Amazon gift card, which makes up for the cost of the item if it never shows up. If it does, one of them is going back.

Summer got 1/2 of her suspension problem fixed yesterday. It gets dark earlier and the guy didn't have time to finish, so he's coming back today to do it. He's also doing the oil change which she badly needs. But now she has to get 2 new front tires and a front end alignment before taking her husband back to the work pick up spot on Tuesday. I'm assuming her text was an 'ask' for help, without really asking for help, but I didn't take the hint. She has to learn to prioritize and I'm not helping anymore unless it's a dire emergency.

I was awake until 4:30 am and woke up at 8, so I'm not going to be in the mood to do much today. I'm still tired.

Summer got 1/2 of her suspension problem fixed yesterday. It gets dark earlier and the guy didn't have time to finish, so he's coming back today to do it. He's also doing the oil change which she badly needs. But now she has to get 2 new front tires and a front end alignment before taking her husband back to the work pick up spot on Tuesday. I'm assuming her text was an 'ask' for help, without really asking for help, but I didn't take the hint. She has to learn to prioritize and I'm not helping anymore unless it's a dire emergency.

I’m glad Summer is getting her car fixed, finally. I worry about it. What a stroke of good luck to find that guy! She should treat him very well!

I have really good luck getting tires at WalMart. Goodyear makes a tire for them under the name Reliant. We have them on all our cars, they’re very good, and usually much less expensive when I’ve priced tires. If they don’t have those on sale, they usually have other types that are also good, and affordable. I don’t love their service dept, but for a $500 savings, I deal with it.

Mona, The real miracle is going to be when you get walk out of there and get back home where you belong!

Fixed that for you! Mona, all of us are pulling for you to recover your ability to walk, and go home with your Dad and resume your life again! You have a trip to Disneyland you have to get to!

Good morning. It is 61 here now with temps heading to the mid 70s. Jeff and family are having fun in WDW. There got to MK around 8 am yesterday which is amazing with 4 kids to get ready. The rode on most everything they wanted. They sent a pic of them on Tiana. Sam was just tall enough to ride and loved it. Can't wait to see more pics. Today they will be at studios and Slinky dog dash is the ride the kids are looking forward to. Another week of work and not overly into it lately. There is an issue with the latest task my boss showed me how to do. Not sure why she bothered to train me on that as she said it is short term as the new person will be doing it. Why not just show her! I am cutting back hours in 2 weeks. Sometimes things do not make sense to me.
