Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

We are leaving NH. We only found a Common Man restaurant, not the cute store I imagined. We had just left our family after a varied sumptuous lunch at The Copper Door near St Anselm’s, so, we will try to find that restaurant stop on another trip.

Our younger granddaughter, Maura, comes home from her semester in Italy today. We’ll spend tonight near Melrose and see our whole family for Brunch tomorrow before heading to Cape May. We can get home on Monday, or late tomorrow, depending on how traffic is, and how we feel.

The sun is out, and it’s beautiful! I wish everyone a good Saturday evening.

Bobbiwoz What a nice graduation and congrats to your granddaughter for such a great accomplishment. Safe travels home.

Pea and Dazed Thinking of you both.

Taz Hope things are well with you, your family, and your Dad.

Good morning. The sun is shining and the sky is blue. So nice for a change. Kenny's kids had good soccer games yesterday. Kenny had to go back to work after Owen's game so I walked Owen over to Ethan's game where I met up with my ex DIL to drop off Owen. We were very cordial and just chatted for a minute. I don't dislike her, she was kind to agree to having me live with them for 9 months after Chris passed, but I am not happy with how she approached the divorce. I prefer to remain cordial as we have the grandkids in common. The divorce agreement is done according to Kenny's attorney but the arbitrator needs to finalize the contract with the court. So almost officially done. Today I go to see Ellie's play.

Have a good Sunday.

Thank you, @Snowysmom ! You have such good relationships with your family, and see them often. We haven’t lived close to either son, but we too have been blessed with many happy memories, like this weekend. We’ll have brunch with the family at their home, then head to Cape May. You are right, it’s a beautiful day and blue sky!

We went to Mass on line. I pray for everyone here, and wish you all a good day.

Good sunny Sunday morning. Going to be a beautiful 74 degrees. It got dark and very windy around dinner time, and I thought we were going to get a storm, but nothing materialized.

I just went out and deadheaded some flowers, put new birdfeeders up, and cleaned out the birdbaths.

@Snowysmom , I'm glad to hear that the divorce is almost over and done with, it went on way too long. Soon everyone can get on with their lives.

Have a great day everyone

I agree with both Bobbi and Lynn dear Snowysmom. Thank you for being a kind presence in your grandkids lives always. Today is my beloved late grandparents 87th Anniversary. The two of them will always be special to me.

Happy Sunday dear Quacker family with love. I will also be watching online worship. Dad and I God willing will visit later, too. We will also email Sonia our updated flooring request that we sure hope is clear and gets the go ahead. I will update on that when we hear back. Have a blessed day and always know each of you are a kind blessing. I will check back in later.

Good afternoon Quackers, I thought I would step in and share some good news. James had his two year bone marrow biopsy a couple of weeks ago and received news of his tests results the other day. All tests show negative! He will continue to have blood work done a couple of times a year and if he remains negative through year 5, the odds of his cancer returning is minimal. Our prayers are being answered, we are so thankful.

I've read back a few pages, it was good to see how you are doing.

Our weather has been up and down. We were close to 100 on Wednesday, steadily getting more humid to where yesterday there was so much moisture in the air you could see it in the distance. It felt like walking through jelled water and was so warm. A storm system blew through last evening and cooled things off but we are back to the moist, humid nasty air again today. Expecting another storm system later today with a repeat tomorrow.

Take care!

What wonderful news!!!

Good to hear from you again 🙂

Good morning. It is 50 here now with temps staying in the upper 50s today. At least the sun is out. I hope to get to the lake and walk. Rain is coming in Wed-Fri. Ellie was so cute in the play. She was a dragonfly and the play was Alice in Wonderland. Jeff surprised me by asking if I would mind if he and Kenny meet me in WDW on my Sept trip for the long weekend. They would come Fri-Sun. I was so surprised and so happy. They want to celebrate my 70th (early as bday is in Dec) and my 65th which was not done due to covid. Plus they know it has been tough for me since Chris passed. Chris and I went to Disney almost every year since empty nesting. Jeff is definitely coming. He talked with Kenny and Kenny is looking into bringing his two kids as they have been asking to go back. Jeff and family are going in Aug so his kids will have just been. It is pricey for 2 nights so I am hoping Kenny is able to come even if ex DIL does not want agree to let the kids come. The Boardwalk hotels are high and of course tickets are high. I am looking for alternatives for Kenny such as Caribbean Beach as it is on the skyliner and he and the kids could meet me and Jeff at the Epcot entrance. And if only Kenny can come then he and Jeff can share a room. I hope it all works out as I would love that! Jeff came up with the idea and he is so kind and sweet to do so. Ellie turns 10 this year and they asked her where she wants to go for a long weekend. She said Disney. So she and Mom will probably go for a long mother-daughter weekend. To say we love Disney is an understatement!

Have a good day.

Good sunny morning. 57 now heading for 71. Feels a bit cool outside right now, but that won't last long.

It's going to be the same again tomorrow, so I'm planning on doing the mowing again then. Rain coming in on Wednesday.

Not sure what I'm going to get into today, probably nothing big.

Watched Idol finale last night. While my favorite made it to the final 2, he didn't win. But I'm sure he'll get a recording contract somewhere along the line.

Sounds like a plan Snowysmom, I hope both boys can join you.

Have a good day.

I truly hope your sons can join you, too, dear Snowysmom. Dear Lynn, thank you for the cute and cozy Mickey and Minnie picture. Some cocoa as a warm drink would be wonderful right now. Dear Bobbi, I agree. How grateful I still am that you and Tom wete able to celebrate this last weekend with Megan.

Good morning friends and happy Monday. God willing, I will have a floor update to share later. Dad will be contacting Sonia this morning. We are sure hoping to get the process started this week. Meantime, I will do my morning exercises and look forward as always to seeing my dad at lunchtime. I will check back in later. Love to all.
