Good morning. The sun is out finally and temps should be in the mid 60s today. Looks like sun for the next couple of days. I am going to take a walk in a few minutes. I like that it is light out early now. I may go to Owen's soccer game this morning. Then it is over to Kenny's.

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a first communion celebration dinner last night at a local restaurant and it was very nice! My 8 year old granddaughter had her 1st communion earlier in the day.

Good morning. It is a cold one here right now with the temp at 39. It is supposed to go into the upper 60s today. At least the sun is out. Yesterday I had a nice day with Kenny, Jeff, and Jeff's kids. They are fun. In the morning I went to Owen's soccer game. He scored 3 goals, 2 for his team and one for the other team. LOL! Love watching kids this age play soccer.

Good sunny morning. Going to be 82, with a chance of showers this afternoon, but right now it's as beautiful out as it was yesterday.

Mother's Day was a mixed bag for me. Never heard a word from either of the boys. Apparently I am no longer considered to be their stepmother, so it is what it is. They have to live with the choices they make.

Summer stopped by with a beautiful hanging pot of yellow and pink Wave Petunia's, a balloon, and cards from her and the grandkids. Each of the kids wrote little notes inside the card, which made my day. Summer never heard from her brothers either, and when she stopped at her mothers, she got annoyed because all her mother did was talk about the boys and the grandkids that live down that way. She's the only one invited to the youngest one's high school graduation in 2 weeks, Summer and I weren't invited. Don would be so hurt by their behavior, but at this point, I don't really care anymore.

I made myself some baby back ribs and devilled egg potato salad for dinner, and watched Idol and a movie, while chatting with my CO best friend.

Off to do some light cleaning and then relax on the deck for awhile.

I wish smileys would work for me but they don't. So, imagine the thank you smiley and a red heart. Thank you dear friends for all of your kind wishes. I did thank God extra for each of you, my Quacker family.

Dad God willing will be here in a couple of hours. I told a couple kind friends earlier that as I get older pictures with and of those I care about and love mean so much to me. Dad and I will take some pictures later and ask someone here to take our picture.

I was greeted early this morning by a super sweet CNA named M. She came into my room singing happy birthday. She brought me a card and red (artificial) rose. Another person very dear to me brought me mini cupcakes with pink frosting. I wish I could share them with all of you.

Right now I am wearing the pajama pants and t shirt dad brought me. What a blessing to have clothes on. I also got to sit for one picture already in a real chair without wheels! That meant a lot, praise extra to God.
